Adam is a highly successful investor with more than 18 years of experience investing into EMEA, APAC and the US. His track record includes over 30 investments within key areas of FinTech including, Payments, Blockchain and Artificial intelligence.
Adam is CEO of Io Enterprises, the FinTech investing arm of Reech Corporation Group. Io Enterprises is a European based growth investment platform with a global reach focused on Financials and FinTech with a unique asset building approach to investments. To date it has successfully taken large stakes in fintechs, providing significant returns for investors.
Prior to joining Io Enterprises, Adam led BofA Merrill Lynch’s Global Principal Investments portfolio, with a focus on FinTech private equity investments. There he had a global mandate focussed on strategic investments across financials, technology companies and key FinTech Investment trends. As Co-Chair of the Global Investment Committee, he oversaw all new investments and a portfolio of over $2.5bn, comprised of up to 70 Fintech companies.
During his time at BofA ML, Adam led investments into Kensho, Markit (now IHS Markit), Chi-X Europe (now CBOE Bats), Modo Payments, Tradeweb, Source, Turquoise and R3. He also led the successful exit of over 15 portfolio companies, including the IPOs of Markit and Bats. Adam is also an experienced board operator having held roles at 13 portfolio companies, including Tradeweb, Chi-X Europe, Source ETF and Nyse Amex Options.
Previously, he worked in the emerging markets business at Barclays supported by a foundation in strategy consulting.
Adam holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
